We are looking for someone who is adept at plucking stories from data and using those stories to better our clients’ media plans and overall marketing. The Lead of Data Storytelling and Analytics is endlessly curious, equally teachable and an independent learner, a problem-solver who triumphs in finding solutions, adaptable and fearless in the face of curve balls, independent yet collaborative, kind, and obsessed with detail. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze media, economic, client, and other data to uncover trends, correlations, and insights that inform media strategy development and decision-making
  • Create internal and client-facing presentations to tell media data stories, suggesting optimizations, tactical adjustments, and strategic implications
  • Develop deep understanding of each client’s business and media plans
  • Interact with a variety of media buying tools and data platforms to access data including Meta Ads, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, Retail Media Networks, and more
  • Query datasets and create data pipelines, visualizations, and dashboards as needed in BI platform Domo
  • Perform ad hoc statistical analyses using Python or R including correlation tests, t-tests, and others

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Statistics
  • 3 years’ experience in SQL
  • 3 years’ experience in Business Intelligence Software (Domo Preferred)
  • 2 years’ experience in Python, R, Java, or other Object-oriented Language
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills, including a strong proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities, especially the skills to work with tight deadlines and on multiple clients and projects
  • The ability to work independently without daily oversight
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal team members
